Establishing Your Dosage (Detailed Info For Each Product Below)
CBD is biphasic, meaning it can be energizing or sedating, depending on the amount consumed. In small doses (2-10mg), it is energizing and mood enhancing. In larger doses, (and depending on your issues with pain, inflammation or anxiety) it can induce drowsiness.
What is considered a “large dose” is completely dependent upon how your body responds to CBD, so there is a bit of guesswork in the beginning.
Recommended Starting Dose: 10mg for 1-3 days. If you become tired, decrease your next dose. If you do not experience any change following 10mg, apply or consume the recommended dose (below) 2x per day, for 1-3 days.

Establishing a recommended dose of cannabidiol (CBD) for relief from a particular ailment is difficult for a variety reasons. Firstly, the bioavailability (the proportion of a substance that enters the circulation when introduced into the body, so as to have an active effect) of CBD varies, depending upon how it is administered. Meaning, if you were vaporizing versus orally consuming CBD, the amount of CBD to enter your bloodstream would vary significantly. As an example:
The basis of comparison for all other means of administration is intravenously, which is assumed to have 100% bioavailability. We are not suggesting intravenous administration of our CBD products, but rather clarifying that when studies reveal the bioavailability of CBD, it is by comparison to an intravenous application.
Secondly, how our bodies respond to cannabinoids effects how many milligrams one should consume, and how our bodies respond is based solely upon our endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is responsible for a variety of biological functions, and can be found in each and every mammalian body. It naturally synthesizes the endocannabinoids our bodies produce, and can also be activated by phytocannabinoids, such as CBD and THC, as well as by terpenes, the pungent oils secreted by the cannabis sativa plant. CBD and terpenes work synergistically together, meaning the therapeutic benefits of each are greatly intensified when combined. Your sensitivity (or lack-thereof) to CBD is based upon your body’s individual ECS, and its response to cannabinoids and terpenes. This is why one’s response to cannabis sativa can be so stark from one person to the next.
As an example, if three different people were to consume a strain of cannabis high in THC, you could potentially have three completely different reactions. One person could feel relaxed and at ease, one could feel anxious or paranoid, and the other could feel elated and energetic. Similarly, if three different people were to consume 5 drops of our addCBD (10mg of CBD), one could feel tired, one could feel energized, and the other could feel nothing at all. The first person may need to take less, as 10mg is too sedating. The second is probably taking the perfect dose, and the third requires a bit more.
Titration is a technique where a solution of a known concentration is used to determine the concentration of an unknown solution, or the the process of slowly increasing one medicine or liquid with another medicine or liquid. In regards of dosing CBD, it deals with taking small amounts of CBD until you’ve reached your own personal “magic number”.
